Tana Ramsay's Fruit Gratin Breakfast recipe called for plums, apricots or nectarines. So seemed ideal for the boys' plums!!
Fruit Gratin
Serves 6
Butter to grease dish
6 plums/apricots/nectarines
425ml milk
3 eggs
75g plain flour
50g sugar
50g ground almonds
1 tsp vanilla extract
- Preheat oven to 200C
- Grease flan dish
- Slice soft fruit in half, and remove stones. (I used plums, and used about 8).
- Put the milk, sugar, eggs, flour, almonds and vanilla in the food processor and blitz for a couple of minutes.
- Pour the liquid into the flan dish. Arrange the cut side down into the batter.
- Bake for about 20 minutes, until batter is set. Serve immediately.
